Investing in the 40FRIENDS children's home

On Sunday Garry and the children were back at the department store to purchase some much needed equipment for the 40FRIENDS children’s home. Lincs2Nepal bought a washing machine (the clothes were being washed on the floor outside), two double gas burners (they had been cooking for twenty people on one gas ring), a water filter/dispenser, a microwave and a 50 inch TV. In addition, we were able to purchase a tablet for each child, courtesy of Ambitions Personel – thank you!
Garry also had a meeting with an engineer with 40 years experience, who is helping us free-of-charge with the upgrade of facilities. We need to: build a concrete block boundary wall to keep out the flood water which completely wrecks everything in the monsoon season; take down and rebuild the existing bedrooms; raise the roof on all the other buildings; put in new drains; and construct a sports court for the kids’ use. Exciting times for everyone!
