Another update from Garry in Nepal
“I just had an amazing evening with Bidisha and her parents. I first met Bidisha in 2015, when we were doing earthquake relief work. She was 11 years old and, with her father, joined us on a relief trip to the village of Hokshe, where her grandad had died in the earthquake. She was an incredible little girl and she did an interview with the “Good Morning Britain” film crew who came out with us. Afterwards Bidisha told me that she wanted to be a nurse when she grew up. We’ve kept in touch and it is now my pleasure that Lincs2Nepal is sponsoring her through nursing college. Tonight was her parents’ 23rd anniversary and it was really nice to spoil this beautiful family, taking them out for a meal like they have never experienced before (at my expense, not the charity’s). Lots of tears, a lovely night with the most lovely, humble people.”
