Flood update and food supply.
In an update to Thursday’s post, the first truckloads of Lincs2Nepal food arrived yesterday for the people of Rajapur. The pictures show the food being distributed by staff from Jeevan Jyoti School. These people have lost homes, food, clothes and crops during the flooding and have been displaced to makeshift camps. Over 200 families received food and clothes from Lincs2Nepal yesterday and today we are delivering aid to 300+ families in Kanchanpur.
Thank you to anyone who has already donated to our KindNess aid relief appeal. This really is essential work and because the staff at our school are doing this wholly voluntarily, as always every penny goes towards helping these desperate people. If you would like to help us help these people rebuild their lives, please donate here.
