Feeder school update
Work is well under way on both new feeder schools that we are building for the villagers of Lockanwar and Akalghawa. These buildings will replace the schools that were being used previously, which are no longer fit for purpose. The two schools will each have a classroom, storeroom/office and toilets. In addition, the Akalghawa school is now going to be a two-storey building, with the first floor providing a home for one of our school bus drivers and his family, who currently live in a mud hut.
The total cost will now be £13,000 and we owe a special “thank you” to Mark and Cheryl for helping with this project, it is greatly appreciated.
